A day of community arts and ecology workshops in and around Bovey Tracey.
Join us for a fun-filled day organised by Trees of Hope. Dive into nature with walks, workshops and performances. Whether you’re bringing family or friends, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Morning, afternoon and evening sessions available, join for some of the day and evening or all of it! Here’s what’s happening, please note varying locations:
Morning sessions at Ilsington Village Hall, 9am – 12.30pm

1.40pm ~ Presentation about the Trees of Hope project in rural Zimbabwe
2pm ~ Permaculture workshop: A practical introduction to the diversity of meadow life. Making seed bombs for use this spring, with Nicky Scott

Drum, movement & song workshop: Woodland sounds, with Nick Clough

Sculpture workshop: Using recycled materials, making scenery for a woodland play, with Kennedy Tafara Chinyere
5pm ~ Secrets of a Devon Wood: Play about woodland life performed by local children and adults
6pm ~ Evening Meal at Bovey Tracey Methodist Hall with vegetarian and vegan options available
